LYR Hair Growth was founded in September 2022 with a mission rooted in family, resilience, and the belief that healthy hair can be achieved naturally.

The name LYR stands for Lois Y. Russell, my beloved grandmother, who passed away in 2021 due to COVID-19. She was known by everyone who knew her for her beautiful, long, silky hair. Her grace, strength, and beauty continue to inspire me every day, and this business was created in her honor to keep her legacy alive.

Growing up, I was also known for having long, thick, healthy hair. However, between 2018 and 2021, I experienced significant hair breakage and damage that caused me to lose the length and fullness I had always been proud of. Determined to restore my hair, I spent years researching natural ingredients, hair growth methods, and effective hair care practices that would help me regain healthy, luxurious hair.

Through dedication, patience, and countless hours of learning, I began creating products designed to nourish the scalp, strengthen hair strands, reduce breakage, and promote healthy hair growth. What started as a personal journey soon became a passion to help others who were facing similar hair challenges.

Today, LYR Hair Growth offers carefully crafted products made with ingredients selected to support healthy, stronger, and longer hair. Our goal is not only to provide quality hair care products but also to encourage confidence and self-love throughout every hair journey.
